Situation Review
A lawyer looks at your matter with you
45 minutes on your own dispute, by video, with the lawyer who wrote your report. You send your documents in advance, we read them before we meet, and you get legal advice on where you stand and what to do next, followed by a short written summary.
$300, charged after your written summary is delivered. Your card is saved once we have agreed a time, and nothing is taken before then.

What you need to have ready
The advice you get is based on what you bring. That is not a disclaimer, it is how the 45 minutes stays useful: a meeting spent hunting for a condition report is a meeting spent on nothing. Email us everything below, at least 48 hours before we meet.
- Your tenancy agreement, every page.
- Your bond lodgement receipt.
- Your condition report, entry and exit.
- Every message between you and the other side about this issue, complete and in order, not only the ones that help you.
- Your photographs, if you have them.
- The report you already have.
If your dispute is about the bond, also send: an itemised list of what is being claimed, any quotes your rental provider or agent has given you, any quotes you have gathered yourself, and your cleaning or garden receipts, if applicable.
If your dispute is about repairs, also send: your repair request, any formal repair notice, and any tradesperson reports or quotes.
If it has not arrived by then, the meeting is rescheduled rather than wasted.

Email us
Tell us who is involved and we will check for conflicts and reply with times that work. Nothing about the merits of your matter yet, that comes later, once we have agreed a time.
- Your full name
- Your landlord or rental provider
- The agency, if there is one
- The property address
- Your state (Victoria or NSW)
- Do you already have our report? (yes / no)
If the button does nothing, which is normal on webmail, send it to contact@quickhelplegal.com.au.
A fixed fee of $300 for one 45-minute meeting and a short written summary afterwards. Once a time is agreed we email you a secure Stripe link to save your card, which is charged only after your written summary has been delivered.
We check for conflicts before the review begins. If we find one, we will decline the booking, remove any saved card, and charge you nothing.
The review is based on the information and documents you give us. We do not investigate or verify them.
Your documents are due at least 48 hours before the meeting. If they have not arrived, the meeting is rescheduled.
We do not represent you at VCAT or NCAT, deal with the other side, or act for you in the dispute. The engagement ends when your summary is delivered.
A Situation Review is available to people who already hold one of our reports. If you do not have one yet, start there first.
