Our commitment
The Australian Human Rights Commission treats the international WCAG guidelines as the benchmark for making information accessible to people with disability, with guidance that covers PDF documents specifically. Every report we produce is a PDF, so this is something we build for from the start, not an afterthought added later.
What this means for your report
Your PDF report is built with a structured tag tree: headings, paragraphs, tables, and lists are marked so a screen reader or other assistive technology can navigate the document in the right order, rather than reading raw text in whatever order it happens to sit in the file. This applies throughout your report, from the cover page's details through to your suggested next steps.
What this means on our website
Interactive controls carry text labels for screen readers even where they are shown as icons, and the site is built to work with a keyboard alone, without needing a mouse or touchscreen.
If something isn't working for you
We test what we build, but if you use a screen reader or other assistive technology and something on this site or in your report doesn't work the way it should, tell us and we'll fix it. Contact contact@quickhelplegal.com.au.
